Non-Machinable Weld Deposits On Cast Iron
CHARATERISTICS: RAJ NM is a medium heavy coated graphite based electrode with mild steel core for non machine able welds on Cast iron, steady and quite arc, intimate fusion with base metal, self detachable slag are few among the many features of this electrodes.
APPLICATIONS: Typical applications of RAJ NM includes joining and repair of Cast Iron Parts, repair of defective casting, joining cast iron to mild steel, preheating is recommended for heavy and rigid sections.
Precautions:
- Storing of Electrodes should be done in a warm storage room (temp. 120°C – 150°C with low relative humidity to minimize the rise of moisture pick-up. Electrodes slightly affected by moisture should be carefully dried for min. one hour at temp. 250°C-300°C before use.
