DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATIONS: RAJWELD – 70 W is a all position, hydrogen controlled, radiographic quality electrode having special type of lime coating, which gives trouble free welds on “difficult steel” such as high carbon, low-alloy, high sulpher, cast steel and cold rolled steel. Electrode produces a smooth well-rippled bead with fewer spatters. Easily removable slag. Weld metal is highly resistant to cracking.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS: High carbon steel parts, High carbon steel to mild steel, low alloy steel, steel having high sulpher, Armour plates, Cast steels and Steel of unknown composition.

Precautions:

  • Store in a dry place.
  • Redry the electrodes at 250°C for one hour before use and place the baked electrodes in carrying oven at 90oC while in use.
  • Maintain appropriate current and short arc.
  • Remove oil, grease, dust & rust from parent metal.
  • Do not handle the electrodes with moisture greasy hand.
