(Solid wire for suitable for welding low carbon 18% Cr-8% Ni steel)

DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATIONS: RK-308L is a low carbon stainless steel GTAW (TIG)/ GMAW (MIG) wire with exceptionally smooth performance characteristics apart from excellent resistance to inter-granular corrosion in variety of media. The weld offers resistance to cracking and scaling up to service temperature of 800O C. It is also recommended for welding of similar grades of steels where high ductility and impact values at cryogenic temperature down to – 196OC are required. It is suitable for welding stainless steel grades AISI 301, 302, 304L, 308, 308L, Werkstoff Nos : 1.4306, 1.4301, 1.4541 and their equivalents which are generally used in food, beverage and chemical industries.
