DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATIONS: RK-309L is a versatile low carbon stainless steel GTAW (TIG)/GMAW (MIG) wire with exceptionally smooth performance characteristics apart from excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation up to 1100O C. It is most suitable for welding dissimilar stainless steels and stainless steels to mild steel. Other applications include under-laying on ferritic steels, welding straight chrome steels, etc.
