(Solid wire suitable for welding low carbon 18%Cr-12%Ni-2%Mo-N and low carbon 19%Cr-13%Ni-3%Mo steel)

DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATIONS: RK-317L is a low carbon stainless steel GTAW (TIG)/ GMAW (MIG) wire with exceptionally smooth performance characteristics apart from extra ordinary resistance to inter granular corrosion in sulfurous and phosphoric acid media on account of the presence of Mo. The weld metal exhibits excellent radiographic soundness and creep resistance. Typical applications include welding of steels of similar composition and applications where resistance to severe corrosion conditions is called for.
