RAJWELD – 9018 B3

RAJWELD – 9018 B3

(An Electrode for Weathering Steel)

DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATIONS: RAJWELD – 9018 B3 is a hydrogen controlled iron powder type electrode depositing 2.25%Cr & 1%Mo. It gives stable arc which is easy to strike and restrike in butt joint of tube & pipe in all position. Hence specially recommended for tube and pipe welding. The welds are of radiographic quality and display remarkable strength and creep resistance at elevated temperature up to 550°C. Ideal for welding low alloy steels boilers & pipings operating at service temperature up to 600°C. in oil refinery, thermal & chemical plant, steam boiler, power plants etc.
